Is anybody aware of an aftermarket skid plate for a GPZ 7000?
I just priced a new one and they want $40, the Chinese could make them for about 50 cents, seems excessive to me.

I would like to know too. I'm up for a new one as mine has a split in it.

A aftermarket heavy duty one would be great.

If you got the time and know a few people with the same dilemma perhaps you could make up a little vacuum former. Here is an internet photo of one

Thanks for the replies, I never considered making my own but it may be viable, I will do some investigating.
I hate being gouged on something so simple to produce.

I havent made one for a gpz, but I have made my own for all the coils I have had open spoke, solid and elliptical even the sdc, make a mold a bit of polycarb sheeting and away you go,last over 12 months

That is my plan, nothing to lose except a bit of perspex.
