A lovely deep orange Oxblood citrine, cut in a slightly modified version of Voltilini's ever-popular "Nymphia" design. The stone weighs in at 3.7 carats and measures approximately 10.8mm in diameter. Perfectly suited to either a pendent or a large ring.
Asking $120, price includes secure postage.
*Informative disclosure: Tanzanite, Sapphires and much Blue Topaz are stones that are commonly or usually heated to improve colour and/or clarity. Likewise, Oxblood citrine is a natural stone whose final colour has been achieved by heating. It begins as high quality facet-grade amethyst, heating converts the naturally-occurring iron in the crystal lattice from one form of Fe to another form of Fe, and the purple colour becomes deep orange. The colour is stable and does not change or fade. Crystals of this colour do come from the ground naturally, though they are very rare.
I do not sell anything that is actually man-made.
