Hey guys,
I found this peice the other day.
It has the year 1830 on it.
It is quite a small and light piece but is still made of a type of metal. I don't think it's aluminum at all.
Do you think it maybe as old as the year stamped on it?
Any Idea's of what It may be made of?
Cheers Co.

The year 1830 on the Miraculous Medal is the year the Blessed Mother gave the design of the Miraculous Medal to St. Catherine. The reference to “Mary conceived without sin” supports the dogma of the Immaculate Conception of Mary — referring to Mary being sinless, “full of grace,” and “blessed among women” (Lk. 1:28).

IMO probably not too old being made of a light metal.
Reference 1830 is on all medals.
