    ⭐ Gold Detecting Show'n Tell

These 2 beauties were found in the Sierra foothills of California, sold them to a mineral dealer and they ended up in Australia!!

Built a 5 bank dryblower using 5 Keene boxes

Yes the Keene blowers are rated at 2000 cfm going full throttle running it full you will kick up a dust storm and lose gold. Running it much lower reduces the cfm and I found that using a quality bounce house blower rated at 1600 cfm runs the box just fine, in fact 800 cfm is adequate. Of course...

Minelab GPX6000 release, general information and questions

hmmm....what could they offer more then what the 5000 has? I mean really...unless it has a great disc mode at depth would be the game changer.

Built a 5 bank dryblower using 5 Keene boxes

Was wondering what type of blowers would push enough velocity and or CFM to effectively move dirt off of the trays>? Sorry double posted by accident, mod please remove one , thank you.

Series I NF 16" round Spider Vs New Flat Wound coils

Gypsy, As far as EMI, I have not seen any difference of the new ones having more EMI issues than the older coils. I did notice a significant difference in ground noise. I hunt areas of high clay concentrations....red soils and I am digging many more fanthom holes...even if I am in enhanced mode...

Series I NF 16" round Spider Vs New Flat Wound coils

I just bought the 17x13 Evo coil and have been taking it out to some of my old patches. I have used a multitude of coils on these patches and have silenced the dirt..I tend to work the same grounds and patches until I cant squeeze out any more bits...and the last few were exactly that...fly...

    Nugget finder evo coils

I just got the 17x13 Evo and found 5 nuggets with it within 2 weeks I had it...largest was 2.3 grams solid nugget and the other 4.65 quartz with gold at a good depth the others just could not get it. I would say if you have the 11" Commander Mono and one larger than the 11" you have it covered...

    Evo coil

Evolution 17x13 is a Killer coil..............the weight is surprisingly light, and I am using it as my go to coil. First day out found this 2.31 gram deep, today found a .70 gram piece shaped like a long rice kernel at 7 inches easy.

Nugget Finder 15 inch NF EVO coil

Been testing the 12" Evo for past week, took it to a few old patches I killed with different coils. I set my front end to General, Enhanced, Fixed and Mono, Back end...Gain at 13, Stab at 8 and in Audio Quite, Very Slow Motion....I have found this setting keeps my threshold running smooth and...

    Detech Coil information

Hard choice on the coils .....appears Detech produced a great little coil...for me its either the NF Evo 12" or the Detech 11" above in video. I am just thinking perhaps the 12" Evo will give a bit more depth on the smaller nuggets because of the extra inch...I do like the crisp and very...

    Clermont Qld information and questions

That sucks the big Weenie..... this is one reason I always do a double take on the gates I close on ranches. Just in case I was distracted by some thought and forget to close and lock the gates as I found them when I go through. I covet the privilege of hunting private property and large...

    DD coil information and questions

Had great luck with the 15x8" dd eleptical...in trashy areas disc works good. A bit heavy for its size...but a great mid size E coil...smallest piece found so far is 3.5 grains 1-2" deep. Anything smaller on your detector you will feel like your not covering ground.

    Nugget finder evo 14x9 Evolution

If I had to wait a few extra weeks to buy a new coil rather than a used one, I would wait and buy a new coil. In fact the two or three used ones I did buy, went bad in a year. Thankfully it was not a total waste, as I did find gold with them. But I did notice when they go unstable..they are...

    Nugget finder evo 14x9 Evolution

Glad to hear the Evo coils are doing well and producing small bits at good depth. I do not doubt they are better than the older coils, but I began to question weather they are that far ahead of the older coils. The reason being is the other day I put on my Wallaby coil DD and got a faith...

    Detech Coil information

I do like the all around sensitivity this coil appears to have on a multitude of target size. How is the dics vs depth accuracy? Does it null/ break on iron like all the other dd coils on the gpx Minelabs, or does it have a distinct advantage with the extra copper and spiral wound over the other...
