Did a couple hours this arvo, tried 2 new spots, second spot was better, just enough in it to get my ears tuned back in, and test my knees.

I havent detected for maybe 8 weeks, but managed to find a silver on the weekend! So I am kicking off 2018, with a 1920 Silver dime! I bought an american gramophone on the weekend, and amongst the dust, dirt, and rusty needles, I found the dime. Rare find indeed lol

Recently been digging 5c, and 10c pieces, when I expected them to be silver, or copper. Have a theory, that I am liking these signals, due to fullness of them being coins, combined with high tone ferrous in the soil.

Went to look at a cheap mower, for one of my clients today. The guy mentioned that he had old bottles, so I came home with a tub dug by workman, developing a former ww2 army camp.

The best condition 2 cent, that I have ever dug. It had been sitting about 2inches down in the dirt for prob 40yrs? and comes out looking like it was minted just a couple of years ago. I have not cleaned it, just a light rub. Its just a BB, but what a BB!! off to ebay 2000 bucks lol
