Quick heads up anybody looking to buy equinox 800 visit your local Anaconda store,i know they only stock the 600 which is on special at the moment,but they can order you in the 800 with the special price, hope this is of some use to somebody Cheers.

Found today another very crusty pre dec penny,can only make out the date 1863 and a little detail on skirts,i think it may be British.

Found my first predecimal coin yesterday,using the x-terra 705. Thanks to the info i found on the forum i did not give it a scrub with a wire brush.It is quite corroded but i am still very happy.Once again thanks to all for the info.

I have been reading gold and ghost vol 1.,What a great read,although many of the areas mentioned have been hammered,you can imagine what it would have been like to find a virgin area, picking up nuggets weighing ounces not grams.This may be old hat but it sure fires me up to want to get back out...

New member living in Tassie,have prospected in WA many years ago not yet bought a detector still trying to sort which one to buy.Hopefully by followig the many topics on this forum it will steer me in the right direction.Good to be here.
