Just asking,I know it’s easy to say save more money and get a 4500 or 5000 but why not an Extreme or even a 4000?

Just noticed a 4500 near Ballarat which is negotiable,maybe that’s the direction I should take?

Hey mate, Thanks for your reply.I guess the budget can be $2500 but was thinking can I get a proven gold finder for a cheaper price without having to spend the extra $$$.At the end of the day am I wasting my time and money if I purchase less than a 4500?

So what would be the best Minelab detector below a 5000 and why?

Open to anything really,but definitely want more of a step up than the eureka I had.I holiday around the Golden Triangle and want to make the most of it.
