What does everyone think about the prospectors term "FLOGGED" I can understand if an areas been hit pretty hard and has given up alot of nuggets over time people may assume its "FLOGGED". These areas still continue to produce gold though. Is the "FLOGGED" term used by unlucky prospectors...

I'm prospecting an area at the moment that has had some mining activity in the past. I've found 8 small nuggets 0.3-1.7 grams in a gully that leads uphill to 3 drives in the side of a hill. The material around the drives consists of a conglomerate of smooth quartz and ironstone all cemented...

Did anyone catch the news this morning about the $10 million worth of gold coins found in California by a couple walking their dog? Unbelievable story, I'll bet their are a few disgruntled prospectors in the area wishing they had of swung the MD's around the area.
