    Hi All I will have some ready cash soon, and am thinking about taking on the "detectormods" to give my Minelab 4500 a boost and bit of extra in the hunt for gold. Question is, has anyone had this done to their machine and was it worth the cost, as it's not cheap but then again, gold would pay...

    Manning River Taree

    I've been reading the book Gold Prospecting by Douglas M. Stone and looking at the NSW map on page 116 of that book, and it has an area marked in the Taree district on the Manning River. Is there any gold in that area and is there any for detectors or is it only river panning...please help me...
