I've only been to Coiltek Maryborough a few times, but they seem very genuine and interested in talking about what you're doing, without a selling angle coming into the conversation.

Wish I could have been there to see that. Sounds like a whole other world. I have a handshake agreement with an adjoining farmer regarding grazing of sheep. It's worked well for both of us for 20 years.

I've had similar experience south of Maryborough. Red soil and heaps of background noise. I presume the colour of the soil is a good indicator of the amount of iron in it.

About a year or so ago TheMediocritist posted a thread about his work on a map of Victoria showing all the areas (parks, rivers, etc) that can and can't be prospected. I haven't been able to find other threads about it and was just wondering if it ended up getting off the ground? Thanks.
