Well i used the camo at Nundle on the weekend for a morning. Didnt find any gold but found and few nails for my efforts. Hope to get some gold soon.

Hi AtomRat, the rubbish is in the open cut entrance. when standing at the mine entrance my feet are level with the top of the horizontal shaft going into the rock. The only cleanup i am thinking of doing is outside the mine itself.

Has anyone ever found and entered and old mine. I foind one the other day that has the entrance filled up with debris to the top of the tunnel. I was going to dig a trench out and get the water flowing and use the water to help remove the rubbish in the entrance. What are your thoughts...

Well went for the first run on the weekend and my god isn't it sensitive. I am thinking that i might need to get rid of the amalgam in my teeth cause i think it is setting it off. Only found some old metal bits and pieces around an old mine. Thinking of going back and digging out the entrance...

Hey all. I bit the bullet and bought a new coiltek elite 15". What a wicked coil. It found my test nugget .18gm at 30 cms. I am happy as. Now i just need to get my self organised and get detecting. Thanks for the input.

Well i got the button sorted. I cost less then $10. Took it out on the weekend and found some stuff. No gold unfortunately but the ground balance button worked a treat. thanks for all the help.

Well thats done, just need to take it out tomorrow and see if i can find some of the elusive yellow stuff.....
