I found a 1817 shilling the other day in the same area that I found a 1861 halfpenny about 25 years ago....it is worn a fair bit on the reverse side. It was sitting just under the surface layer of dirt...got it with the xterra 305

one for the tech savvy members here.....I was given a sd 2000 and was wondering can I use the coils and battery from my gp 3000 on it?..not sure if it works yet but want to give it a go...it has an accessory with it that says voltage regulator...and also another that I assume is a signal...

I tried soaking the modern silvers 50c 20c etc in white vinegar ...soaked them for a few days then cleaned them in water with a few drops of washing up detergent using a stainless steel scourer ...came up very clean.... some of the real dirty ones needed a couple more days in the vinegar...
