I picked up an AU gold finder and used it for the first time over 3 days last week.I tested it over ground in Tambaroora,Avisford and Windeyer and it handled the ground with ease.I love how easy it is to use with the dials and easy ground balance and I used All Metal mode nearly the whole time...

I was considering this myself upgrading from the mxt pro and 5.3 coil to a GM1000 or makro gold kruzer.if it's not worth the cost for reward maybe il save for a PI

So i put some new batteries in and it turned straight on like new????? Would batteries almost flat cause the earlier problem? Guess il take it for a swing and see what happens

So tried that tonight wouldnt come on.took battery pack out repeatedly checked connections.all i can get is a whine coming from the box but no lcd screen :N:

Hi all I purchased the mxt pro acouple weeks ago.it appears in very good condition and whilst I was out on weekend detecting I bumped the 12" 300 coil against a tree by mistake.it wasn't very hard but the screen went blank straight away.i turned it off checked everything and turned it back on...
