Give Minersden in Bendigo a call , they are the authorised repairer for Minelab. I took my SDC there a few weeks ago , under warranty, 3 hours later they had replaced the handle at no charge , great service . I did not buy it from them .

I went out to Smythsdale on Friday with no luck just a few bullets and lead shot. Today I went to Snake Valley, same no luck...
