Read the whole thread - learning much. Also reading through the manual and re-reading.
At this stage im still getting familiar with my setup on the 4500 but have learnt that there is no singular setup that suits all.

and unless he's 'farming' in a State Park (cough cough plantation) then im doing nothing wrong....I cant think of why else he's have a shotgun...

With Detecting it depends on the public space..to the best of my knowledge this is what I know....
-YOU CANT detect or prospect in National Parks or Heritage Areas
-YOU CAN in State Parks....
Reef Hills is a State Park.
