I was working out that way a few years back and decided to go for a detect. The diggings looked promising. I found nothing although I ran into another prospector loading some buckets for panning. He was impressed and bragged about the 1/2 ounce of gold he had found there over the last 3 years...

Ive had both an sdc and a 4500. I had to get rid of the sdc and stay with the 4500. If you love digging the smallest lead for what feels like centuries go the sdc. It did my head. I found 3 nuggs with the sdc and the weight barely went .1g. The gpx will go way deeper on better quality gold.

My old 4500 was a 2009 model. It is genuine and original battery still goes a solid days detecting. No problems at all. Minelab = quality. Just check the serial number. Make sure its legit. Even if it is out warranty minelab will still fix it if something does go wrong down the track.

Hi Northeast No warranty left on machine. But I do swing right handed and the module sits on the left hip. Ill have another muck around with it this weekend.

Hi all, Im have problems with my wm12 for the 7000. The wireless connection is very intermittent. Often it drops out for up 5 seconds at a time. My headphones work fine as I am now running direct plugged into the headphone jack. Has anyone else had this problem? Cheers Chuky.

Must be plenty of +1oz nuggets left laying an inch under the ground around Jupiter creek according to this show. All the gold found was sitting in the top soil.
