I was curious because from what I read, Parks Vic talk about panning, fossicking and prospecting for gold, gemstones and other minerals but can't see anything relating to coins and relics.

Hi Not sure if this the right forum section, but I was reading an early 1970s diving book and they showed a picture of an anchor they salvaged next to a roaring fire. The caption only says firing the anchor. Assuming it's for preserving it, any clues why fire? Cheers

Hi I thought that HA would be verboten but have seen publications and online recommending detecting. An example is Queens Birthday mine in Goldsborough, can you or can't you? Or possibility no. 3 is I'm misreading maps? Cheers
