Commander 11"DD / Gp Series 11" / GP 3000 COILS ???

i just read on another post that the Commander is Litz wound and could be a bees fart better

so the Commander came from the 5000 kits ...correct ??
and the GP Series coil was in my new 4500 pro pack .... so i assume it might be Litz wound as well ??

Hi 10fp, To my knowledge, all of the Minelab manufactured coils since the sd2000 have used litz with the possible exception of some of the early 18" dustbin lid coils.

Minelab use litz wire the only think over the years the coils were up graded ,I tested a older 11 mono against a 11 mono commander and the commander ran smoother and I could run higher settings with it regards john :)
 
Commander and Gp series DD are the same. Earlier DDs had a slightly different wire, but still litz.
