20xwater, I admire your skills to be building out of wood. I much prefer to work with metal where I can hide or repair my mistakes ;)

I've been trying to work wood but it comes in unexpected shapes and sizes :(

I feel like I'm trying to build a silk purse from a sow's ear  Even plastic gives me a fighting chance.

Yep that's what will happen if I don't water proof it.

9mm ply makes it pretty rigid with minimal flex, might be able to epoxy coat it, but if I get one hole in the seal then the ply will swell and split/crack the epoxy..

Make a nice boomerang eventually if it keeps up bowing the way it is. :8
