I used the DJI Phantom Vision with the white camera. They have just released a new one with a Black camera and better Gimbal on it. This would be my choice if buying now, however I picked mine up second hand real cheap nearly half price and the video in HD is pretty darn good. Photos are good with the ability to zoom and also take RAW which I shoot in my other camera. If you have a Go Pro already then look at some of the other kit ones and build up. Good luck they are lots of fun. This one in particular is so easy, if we had been flying a plane we would have crashed several times no doubt. Making the right choice where to go is very daunting, the main thing to look for is where are the mines. They still find Gold, or is it old mines. Green Tenements in Gold bearing country nearly always have good ground on them from what we have seen. So try and find areas near them or do the forms required. It is a big area and you can spend a LOT of time driving, which also adds to costs and potential for damage to tyres and so on. I would look for an area within reach and target that area. Perhaps within a 100k radius. Best of luck. Thanks GDG Bec appreciate the comments and I also must say you gals do a great job with your vids also. You seem to find a lot more than we do :( but hey all for fun isn't it. Best of luck also and may see you out there one day. Westaus
