After a harrowing flight back to Australia I was finally ready to go to Dunolly on 20 October and try out my more recent additions to the Impact- a Nel Tornado coil for the Impact and a pair of HD Audio Technica headphones. Running in DI3, 20 Hz and 03 Isat gave me a gold tone (16 to 66 ID) to find nuggets in the mid tone at much improved depths and stable ID readings. The transformation was simply awesome over the standard coil and headphones and the false signals were more like ground noise faint and high pitched making them safety discarded. Unfortunately the mozzies were unbearable and I had to leave after an unpleasant 18 hours and won't be back till May.
