Tesoro compadre

Hi guys I've been looking at getting a cheap detector, sub $300. Does anyone have any experience with the compadre? Is it any good for small nugs? Any info on this unit or alternatives would be awesome!

Before anyone says it I have looked at the cheap detector topics and just got myself lost....
