"Silent walking" Gen Z

My son told me yesterday about something new that is occurring within the Gen z generation, it is called Silent walking, they have worked out that if they leave the phones and electronic devices at home and go for a walk they get to hear what is going on around them and see things happening and it apparently helps with their general health, it seems that they are an inventive generation to work all that out,

Makes me wonder what I have been doing for the last 80 years when I go for a walk along the beach or in the bush, my mobile sits on a cupboard and is only ever taken when going on holidays or if there is an emergency such as fires or other dire need.

I guess it's a bit like detecting quietly with a GPX6000..... you ust get constant chatter
