Cowboy Neale coached my SANFL team Central Districts for 4 years, Hawthorn premiership player John Platten said he brought the toughness to the team that helped Centrals become a power house in later years, he also credits him as the reason he became such a great player at Hawthorn

R.I.P. Roger Whittaker, I love his song New World In The Morning and Mexican Whistler is a masterpiece of whistling.

The Pogues frontman Shane Macgowan died yesterday aged 65, in Dublin. He was described by Aussie rock icon Nick Cave as "one of the greatest songwriters of his generation". I've got quite a few of The Pogues songs on my Spotify playlist, I love they're version of And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda, if I knew how to put it on here I would, so you could have a listen.
