This is one of my favourite finds. 12 grams of the good stuff, but so reefy it was like I literally pulled it off some host rock. When I dug it out it was sitting in a pocket of schist, so there was shiny glittery stuff all over the dig pile.

Best day is 17.76g with a 8.5g nugget and 7g specie. Biggest nugget is 13g (image below) Lots of character. Found the 3 biggest within 15m of each other. Found the first 2 same day with an SDC. Went back when I got my 6000 and found the 13 grammer.

Another favorite day was checking out a new location, and testing out a theory.
It was a last minute day trip, and there was place on trilobite that I wanted to test. It was just a hunch, and Glenn was keen to check out a different spot entirely. But.... we were in my car, and and this spot ticked all the boxes of my theory, so that was that!
Glenn found the first bit, a 5 grammar...then I got a screamer! Bullet! It was the only bullet on the patch. We only really got 2 good days out of it for about 4 oz, but it was proving the theory that put the smile on our faces!

Just realised that some of the pics are of the same nuggets, the ones on the coaster were the 1st day, I got 18 grams and Glenn got 35. He was using the 17 x 11 6000 coil and it did a good job. I was using the 11" . Next day I used the zed and 12" nf and also got 30ish grams. None were deep. About 2 weeks later Phil(moneybox) and his brother turned up, so went to see if there was anything left....not much, I got a 7 grammar and some fly poo and both Phil and his brother got a little bit as well.
