First post. My wife and I are relatively new to this prospecting gig and we were inspired further after a recent travel trip through gemstone areas in Qld and enjoyed the activity. So decided to get informed and equipped, starting with some books about how, what, and locations etc. Unless it's my searching skills, seem to be lots of books about minerals and geology of AU, but hard to find ones with a teaching-type format. We are located on Sunshine Coast and will seek out some local groups as well, and at this stage, I am interested in any recommendations of literature. I have sourced one second-hand book, called 'A Prospector's Guide to Gemstones in Australia' by Perry. Thanks, Kevin
