Hi all, new to forum and new to fossicking.

Live in newy in the hunter valley with my partner Andrew.

We've been panning in Nundle twice now. First time we didn't find any colour but did find some quartz, hanging rock crystals and I found an orange coloured gem that I'm thinking might be zircon of some description ?

This weekend we were at nundle again and we managed to find some small gold specks ?

Currently we only have two pans, a seive, concentrate pan, buckets, a shovel, a spade and a minelab pinpointer.

Will be getting two metal detectors in the near future hopefully to aid our search for some nuggets or pickers.

We are from Newcastle. Over the weekend we found flower gold and 30 micro/nano specks of gold ? also got a some quartz.

Took home some concentrate to go through at home. Hopefully we can go back soon ?
