Been reading the sites forums and decided to join as I am in need of opinions and a bit more education on what would fit my needs.
I would love to purchase a metal detector , just for a hobby (so nothing over $ 650 to start off). I am in the Sunraysia region and am planning to be going into the bush and maybe near the banks of the river after work and weekends.
I have looked at the garret ACE 300i and the minelab X-terra 705 second hand but very unsure as some of the feature and whats essentials or just extra as a beginner flys right over my head. I would mainly be looking for coins to start off but would love to get more if Im able to with the price.
