Hi There !
Great to be here!
Currently live in Brisbane qld and avid gem fossicker in the northern nsw region in my past life. found black opals to sapphires to rubys and everything in between. As far as my gold prospecting experience goes, Was previously in WA around the Toojay region in my youth where i had property and later in my adult life in Victoria panning sluicing and crevicing in the gold fields areas and also some secret spots in the ranges. My brother and i did ok in our finds and would like to continue the practice again here in QLD.

Looking to further expand my abilities on not just river type prospecting but various landscapes in QLD with some more established medium to high end detectors to add to the panning and sluicing skills. (I've Never had much luck with detectors but never had the right equipment. )
Always interested on other peoples experiences and practices with various methodologies and have been watching others videos for a long time but thought i should finally join a proper prospector forum to further enhance the knowledge. Always looking to further expand the geological understanding (as the soil types are different here in qld) and share my knowledge with others.

Big Love
Macca
