New 2 forum

Hello all,
just joined this forum. Own a 4500 and have previously used a SD2100 which paid for herself plus some... Hope that everyone who searches for their bit of gold finds a bit (or more).
My first detector was a Bounty Hunter 840 purchased by my folks from an elderly chap from Avoca Vic. Never found any gold with her but was well and truly bitten by the 'detecting bug'.
Graduated to a A2B Ground hog which is the detector I found my first little nugget. Anyway hope I can contribute to this forum as I continue gold detecting and a bit of coin/relic hunting.

Everybody on this forum has the dreaded "detecting bug" also, so your in good company here.
I still run a SD2100E. My machine is brilliant at picking up nails and small pieces of wire. Still looking for that elusive nugget..... :lol:. Theres always next time.
