Hi All,
I have dabbled in prospecting on and off for a while but lately the urge to go further is getting louder.
Recently did a tour/course on detecting and even though I found a lot of lead shot, I was happy about it, it meant I was doing something right, not only in the detecting but also the recovery of the shot.
Used the SDC2300 and liked it a lot. Seemed to be a good all rounder of a machine
Live on the far South coast of NSW near Bega. Fishing is the normal hobby I use to get out and about but I am pretty sure detecting is going to find a place.
Have read the forum for a little while, there is a lot of good info here, so thanks for that. It helps people like me work out some of the intricacies reading your experiences.
