I went for a swing this morning at a local park that I have flogged pretty hard. Im surprised I still find anything there aside from junk. Today my first find looked like kids jewellery and I put it in my coin pouch though normally it would go in the trash bag lol. When I got home I cleaned it up and had a look online to try and identify it. It appears to be a Racing Pigeon band from 1929. Pretty cool find. If anyone knows more about these Id be interested in what you know.

A Racing Pigeon no.29....... not sure what the A Stands for but could be for instance Armadale or some such thing.

Hey Silver. Thanks for the reply. There are more numbers on this band 9081 which from what I have read so far are the bird id numbers and 29 is the year. Im guessing Australian Racing Pigeon which the current bands are Australian National Racing Pigeon or ANRP

Interesting to think this band may have sat in this park for 92 years
