I would like to help but sorry to say - I found the reef a few years back
I know for sure because I found a few belongings there that was missing from Lassiters gear

I am only going public now so this thread doesnt become a rabble.
I can't say the location as there is still quite a bit of gold left there
I have made three trips and found enough gold to last me several wives lives

After intensive cross referencing of satellite images And stories of laseter I believe within 100% accuracy that I have found the location that he wrote about in his Journal whether or not the gold is there I do not know I'm sure I found the location. I'm happy to show someone the way for a percentage of the find get back to me with a royalties contract

Youre a bit too late, the reef was discovered years ago.

But hey, dont believe everything you read.

No but thanks for my next move i got maps of Local Aboriginal tribe names so shouldn't be difficult to find out what I need to know %99 of the country is tribal land hasn't stopped others finding a workaround.

Good luck with getting entry permission. We did an expedition out there in 2005 and it took 9 months to get entry permission.
The elders of the communities back then only met monthly, (sometimes) and you needed three communities to agree at any one meeting.
If nothing else the country is absolutely breathtaking.

Found an old link, unfortunately much of the info is not accessible. (Time and tide.)

As much as I admire the enthusiasm of the OPs declaration Im struggling with the logical conclusion.

Anyone reading old mining reports will know that knowing where the gold occurs is not that impressive and certainly asking for any % is

Getting a book deal or a TV series out of it might bring a few :money: .

I plan to buy a dozer and cut the hillside down on one rich abandoned mine not far from me if I win big in Tattslotto before Im done on this big rock, but Ill pop you on the list for a pm if and when that day rolls around.

Not after an exact location atm,but give me a general location and I will see what I can do,I am always keen for an adventure

Hi Loner, a small snippet from Chapter 13. Pat Hall took him up in a plane and it was Lasseter's only flight. According to Blakeley, Lasseter would only say that from the air it appeared to him that they were 240 klm to far north, however, Errol Coote said that when he took Lasseter aside, he told him that they had flown within meters of the reef.
at first Lasseter would not give any further info but when reminded of his contract with CAGEC (Central Australian Gold Exploration Company) he was slightly more forthcoming.
"Picking up a stick, Lasseter sat on the sand. He described the position of Lake Christopher as a radial point; then he indicated three hills which he said could not be mistaken - they look loike three women in sun bonnets talking to one another. About 35 miles to the south east was another hill shaped like a Quakers Hat - tall , conical in shape with the top cut off. The reef lay 10 miles east of the lakelet and, looking along the line of he reef in a north westerly direction, the Three Sisters ( as he called them) appeared to be sitting at the far end of the reef. It was not possible for a plane to land on the lakelet, he said, but close to the reef the country was thickly timbered; however, it could be seen from the air, just peeping through the mulga".
That is a snippet for your taste buds.
Cheers
Mackka

Thanks Macca. Would it be fair to say that flying over the area in a plane that you would not get the perspective view of the 3 sisters or the Quakers hat that you would see from the ground ? It would all look different from a height , but Lasseter had been there and knew the layout of the land and knew what he was looking for in the landscape. A mystery we may never find an answer to.Sounds like a good read.

I'm in mate. Don't listen to all the skeptics. Make me an offer.
Sorry the notifications don't come up for this website on my computer I'm going to fix that.
Well I only really want I finders fee to be perfectly honest.
I mean if it is correct and I am right theres a lot to go around so not gonna be greedy.

Good luck with that! Even if your guess as to the location was right and you could get permission to traverse all the Aboriginal land out that way, you can't just go there, stick a flag pole in the ground with your name on it and expect someone to reward you. "Finders fees" don't exist any more and neither do "claims" - you're living in the past, mate.

Your best hope would probably be to professionally film an expedition and sell that to a TV channel or a streamer, like Netflix or Stan. One of the reality show production companies might be interested - the mob that make Aussie Gold Hunters, for instance.

If anybody is serious about digging up a decent proven (drilled) gold deposit then research M20/522 in Western Australia.

This is my gold mining lease with a good gold history and a deep deposit proven by drilling in recent years. I’m too old to dig too deep but I may be interested in a joint venture with the right people.

Only gold diggers may apply 🤑
