A friend has just ordered a Bonein set as per below for use with his 5000. Like me he has Tinnitus and like myself is not keen on using Headphones or earphones especially if your detector or headphones do not have an adjustable noise limiting feature (similar to the Z), for when you coil goes over a buried horseshoe..
I have purchased an avantree Torus unit that has speakers that fit around your neck for when I try out SWMBOs 6000, but an wondering if the Bonein set that sends sound thru your temples would be suitable as well. ( For situations where you do not want your presence in the area known)
Has anybody carried out sensitivity tests between a set of headphones, preferable the 6000 units and a Bonein set.
