Gold nugget Rookie mistake

This was the second gold nugget that I found can you see where I went wrong I'm using the detector and my mate was sorting through

You can hear as I Chuck the dirt off the top to the side

Well i am glad you worked out what went wrong, wouldn't want to walk away from a nice piece like that. I had a laugh though.

Now you heard the sound as the nugget slipped off the top of the coil, did you happen to check that patch under the coil when it sounded off as well? Just thinking there could of been another target there as well, or maybe just wishful thinking on my part.
