Hi all

Happy New Year to everyone.

Found a mound a dirt in a cleared pine forest and pulled out 28 fly specks with the SDC and 2 more close by for 1.32 grms..

Thought I saw a glint of gold in the dirt so I filled 6 buckets and panned it.

Results .47g,

Melted all my SDC fly specks down for a 8.33grm button,

That practice was quite common except when sent to Ballarat in winter for a cuppla weeks. Much to cold for a tent stay-Joisus. I remember that the pond in front of the school froze over all the time. Brrrrrrrr!!!!

I remember as a kid I went to Ballarat to ride once, we got there about midday and the track was totally covered in frost, I reckon its the coldest place I've ever been :argh:

Spent a great arvo with 20xwater. He was onto a patch with the Gold Monster.
Was very happy to let him loose with the gpx. I was in chill mode and didn't swing much at all. Good combination the monster and the 6000.

Yeah, anytime Pete. I'm usually free. Just to be clear 20xwater found all the bits yesterday.
I was standing back and getting a different perspective on the sound. My hearing isn't the best at times.
I have not given up. I'm just a slacker :lol: I still go out a couple of times a week.
Have found a few bits here and there.
Up to Waanyaara today but with this weather I can't see myself doing much :argh:
Apart from sitting around chilling.
