First Timer at the park

First time post and first time out at the park.

Just received the new garrett ace 250 in the post on Friday. Went out this morning with the kids for 2 1/2 hrs and manged to find plenty of trash but some good stuff too.

manged to find a bit of money $5.26 , the 1 cent being the oldest.

I went with all metal on the detector and dug everything up as recommended. i was finding small pieces of foil at about 4" deep, I am very impressed with the detector. i am sure I've got many hours headed of me to get fully used to the detector but its started off good and iam sure me and the kids will have fun along the way in our new hobby.

just using a small fiskar trowel for digging (your standard garden variety). lucky for me the ground in the local park is quite soft at the moment.
