if you line them with polystyrene foam they can make an excellent all weather camper base

Yeah the listings give dimensions of the item which is fortunate considering people refusing to be the same height these days

Not to mention vehicles being stubborn and wanting their options of typical length of body at ;

Single cab utes generally hitting an average around 2400mm long

ExtraCab / SpaceCab utes 2000mm long (+/- 200)

Dual cabs around 1700-1800 long

But if you're 198 cm tall and happen to have a dual cab ute that's stuck with a 1700 body then you might choose to wack a rooftop tent on top and store all your valuables in the lockup body
