Have witnessed a few of those :eek: Mainly due to hitting a causeway to fast or a hidden bull dust hole will do it even when loaded correctly :rolleyes:

With all the manufacturers hype about towing capacity and other BS, this really shouldn't be necessary. The worrying thing is that so many buyers just accept the sales BS and don't investigate chassis strengthening and other improvements until it's too late
 
Funnily enough you are not allowed to weld chassis rails in Australia and yet look at where the rail broke.
 
The fact old mate has added a nice long towball mount to enable his hitch to get out past his choice of body styles, certainly has done the chassis no favors either :rolleyes:
In second pic the top section of chassis has been cracked long before the straw that broke it's back ;)
