Hi guys,
Took my new 6000 out to find my first gold but come up with this crusty old coin. It’s a 1899 queen Victoria 2 copper or bronze penny in bad shape. Pretty stoked even though it’s in rough shape. Tried to clean it in vinegar and salt but I have no idea how to do it properly! Cheers

4 million ounces came from the goldfield I’m trying but the gpa is tiny and has a couple of metres green stone?? and quartz overburden from the mines plus about 600 mm of silt on top of that from the last flood. It’s full of rusty junk so I’m thinking I’m confined to the creek and adjacent banks. The last hole I dug was around 800 mm deep and the Machine was blanking out still so I gave up. I did get a coke can at 400 mm. Have to keep trying I guess, it’s only a ten minute drive so it’s convenient!
