detector

Hi all been doing some research and not 100% on what detector I should buy. I currently have a tianjin Chinese made one but it isn't strong enough to pick up anything decent. Would the gold monster 1000 be a good start ? Cheers stuey

I know that Minelab is making this MF5 detector , it could even be used for gold detecting, I tried to find out where I can buy this machine and the cost, but to no avail. Can anybody help me with this? I emailed Minelab today about this, but they did not answer back so far. Cheers, Hermann.

has anyone here paid to have modifications carried out to their detectors and what do you think of the outcome ? Detectormods.com advertise that service on ebay and state they can quieten down distortion to give clearer / deeper signals , they dont come cheap at $ 750 - 1500 each for SD and GP...
