Hi, I always found the SDC to be excellent on specimen gold in quartz- until EMI levels changed for some reason and it became no longer usable! GPZ 7000 is also not usable due to EMI. The 5000 is usable in cancel or with an AI coil, but it just doesn't seem to be anywhere near as good as the SDC...

Here's another stone I found last weekend, I've cleaned it up a bit. I suspect it's beryl? Seems to be a fractured section of a crystal and quite weathered. Been trying hard to find aquamarine, not having much luck, but just wondering if I'm getting close or not?
