I own a 7000 and took it to a local park. Literally hundreds of targets, so I gave up pretty quick. I also want a beach and relic detector and settled on the 800 which I will buy at the Sydney Caravan show next week.

I came across this old thread while looking at the area for a possible detecting trip. Is anyone familiar with this area well enough to maybe point me in the right direction? Are there any spots to access down there with a top notch detector?
