    Yep 925 all right :-) Thanks, I did get another ring in that park, but it was rather thin and boring so I didn't bother posting it. I really do like getting the old pennies though, even though they are not worth anything :-)

    HI All, I do most of my detecting in suburban parks in Brisbane and thought I would share some of my finds with you. This first bunch is from a single park, in fact, about a 20m sq area right in the middle.

    Hi Mike, I am getting fairly good at that. When I get a target, I bang it into pin pointer mode to get a location, then I step around 90 degrees and pinpoint it again, then I step back to confirm. I get it in a 6" plug about 4 out of 5 times. --G
