    I thought Jennens & Co were between 1832 to 1912. However I see an article saying the button is from WW1 from a adjutant General department. Whatever that means.

    Yes, it's a 50 caliber. It is apparently from Utah salt lake city. 1943. I think people have been talking about the 303 unfired shell in the picture I posted which is stamped 44 and it looks like 17. Here is another pic of it washed abit.

    I'd would say the school yard was used by the army, but you wouldn't think they would leave loose ammo sitting around. Co.
