    Found my first gold a couple weeks ago, near Halls creek, using a SDC2300. Found six nuggets, ranging from 0.155g to 0.985g. So far I have detected for 20 hours total and my gold tally stands at 2.6g. Very happy with that!!

    Scales to weigh your gold - advice please

    I use my Hornady electronic reloading scales. Works a treat. Try and find someone who does ammunition reloading and who have upgraded from the electronic scales that came with the kit. Might find a bargain.

    Hi Luke Do you require permission from any land owners to go prospecting around Burrell Creek? Not sure of the exact location of it either. Yeah the sdc has been good to me so far. Found 2.7g of nuggets so far. Happy to team up one weekend share knowledge.
