McDonald’s Flat GPA is 5 mins from Clermont town and still produces if your persistent, I’ve heard of nugs to 8 grams recently, has been flogged yet somehow keeps giving but this is not the norm usually sub grammers, lots of dozer scrapings etc there and closest to Theresa ck dam side of town...

    GPX 6000 Coiltek 14x9 coils

Both the 12x7 and 14x 9 found about the same number of small nugs on average. I would Definately say the 14 x 9 is more sensitive on the tiniest of pieces say under 0.05. I found two microscopic targets left them in the ground with the gold hawk and the 12 x 7 didn’t register them but they were...

Warwick QLD Area Beginner - Dipping toes in the water; literally.

You could download the app trilobite and pay for Qld gold subscription and check if there’s any old mines on your property or try panning in the gullies. This is the simplest method to indicate if there’s any gold present. Good luck.

    National lampoon's Clermont tour

When I went we could go anywhere on the property except for in the present cuts. Heaps of gold was found where they had excavated down to about 6 metres then backfilled and abandoned the area. Over 100 pieces found on the tour I did, some in the bush but mostly in the old mined areas with bits...

GPX 6000 NF (Nugget Finder) 12x7 coils

Spent 5 days in Clermont with both the 12x7 and 14 x9. Ran both coils on sensitivity 2. Both good coils found 33 bits in total all small, found most with the gold hawk and got plenty where the 2300’s had been over. I prefer the 14x9 super sensitive and quiet whereas the 12x7 does give off...

Using 2 6000’s in close proximity

Heading away soon and hiring another 6000 for wifey along with mine, so my question is how close can we detect together. Can we aim them towards each other and noise cancel? Or is it more suitable to stay a long distance apart? Thanks for any advice!

GPX 6000 NF (Nugget Finder) 12x7 coils

I’ve had a few sessions with mine it’s a good shape . Definately a bit quieter than the stock coil overall but it does seem to give a few false signals when i scrape it or bump bits of grass, rocks etc. I just received the 14 x 9 and will be taking both to Clermont in a month so hopefully find...

Last time I was there it said the same thing. The access to the gpa is ten metres past the cattle grid I just drove straight through no dramas at all openened the gate and went in. Plenty of times lately Carbean rd has been blocked at the highway and a detour is in place. Just keep heading down...
