    Opal Dilemma

    Ive just finished cutting and polishing this great little boulder opal piece. Its about 2.7ct and it wasnt until it had dried out and I photographed it that I noticed this little hairline crack. Does it need to be recut to make it crack free or is the stone safe in its current state?
