    Light Bar Wiring Issues

Wiring harnesses from Stedi have a rectifier diode at the relay. Doesnt matter what switching or polarity system is used itll work. They even have adapters for numerous globes, though I prefer not to route cable through headlight housing if avoidable. Nissan NP300 require a special module & new...

    NOX on NO2

The NOX was in the standard Park 1 mode. After pinpointing a target I did reverse the process and sweep it out of pinpoint. Occasionally Id get a very quiet tone and without a TID registering. Targets were singular and not hidden. Found a few things like wire, beaver tails, coins and general...

    NOX on NO2

What I experienced was a target appearing in an area that was swept and appearing to be clear. Obviously to the depth the coil would normally penetrate to.

    NOX on NO2

After having the 800 for a couple of weeks and not giving the 6 coil much attention it was time to strap it on. Wed found a target rich environment (coins & beaver tails mostly) thatd suit it perfectly. Having swept a spot and once a target was found then pinpoint was engaged, as youd do. Well...

Minelab Equinox 800 tips and questions

Covering all the bases. After a couple of days owning this machine its turned up loads of finds with many very small and quite deep. No yellow yet but only spent a couple of hours in the hills chasing it. Not fair to judge yet on that type of non-ferrous.

    Minelab Equinox tips and questions

Seems the only ones there before were fishos with butter fingers. The local butcher came over for a chat as hed just bought the Nox too. Offered me a sausage & a rissole for the lure. Lol. I actually found that lure twice! Missus didnt know shed dropped it and I thought Id uncovered a lure spill.

    Minelab Equinox tips and questions

Minelab Equinox In-Awe-Gural Day. The Better 1/2 unboxed her new toy yesterday and it was christened today at a local beach. You may be wondering why Im giving my take on its performance. Its because I was a good boy and she let me have a turn. It did cost me lunch though. Right from the outset...

    GPS Mapping/Wapoints - Garmin

Magellan once had maps which included gold fossicking points of interest. I was a Magellan dealer up until I encountered an attitude problem with their Australian CEO around the time GST came in. Then gave away the Garmin dealership when they reduced margins to 10%!. The best APP Ive found is...

    GPS Mapping/Wapoints - Garmin

Thanks Simmo. I'll see what other info turns up here for a bit, otherwise I'll take up your offer. I've seen 'free' USB's given away with purchases so thinking these waypoints may be freeware. Possibly these might be compatible if I can get a copy.

    Minelab Equinox tips and questions

Got a Nox 800 arriving this week with also a 6 coil. Hoping to collect a few little rewards. Was a tough decision which to buy, Garrett or Minelab. The worry too was mineralisation levels and how it will cope. Looking forward to your review on this.
