Well.. what a morning at Mt Crawford in SA. I did some research on older maps and found a section that had been worked in the 1900s but isn't on any current map. I got there around 7am. Within the first 10 mins i got a light signal, scrapped back the pine needles and it sharped up, kept digging...

Well... i just left the Vic Gold fields.. i didn't find any gold but i did gain a heap of knowledge, I met some great people out in the bush, was only there for a day and a bit. I will be back there again very soon, was my first trip there.

Its nothing huge but its gold. SA isnt known for its gold so im pretty happy with this little guy. Found while panning a well worked area.
